LEAD ME Winter Training Shool Madrid 2021 #LEADMEMadrid2021

LEAD ME stands for “Leading Platform for European Citizens, Industries, Academia and Policymakers in Media Accessibility”. The (online) Winter Training School was about “Media Accessibility Training: Sign Language and Subtitling for the Deaf and Hard-of-hearing”. Our consortium members Víctor Ubieto, Pablo García, Josep Blat (UPF-GTI) ran a workshop on Monday, November 15 from 15h to 17h, with an attendance of around 25 people, and with a lively question session after their presentation. The title of their presentation was: “Virtual Signers generation within SignON” and was about developing Virtual Signing (in other words: Sign Language generation by animated 3D synthetic characters, Virtual Signers or Signing Avatars).
